Cowgirl Boot Camp offers women the opportunity to experience the joy of horse ownership and to indulge their love of the great outdoors.  Boot camp is service oriented and designed to enhance the skills required and  instill the responsibility necessary to care for and own horses.  In a natural mountain setting, women will develop the knowledge and skills of basic, intermediate or advanced horsemanship.

 Cowgirl Boot Camp whisks clients off to our remote location where their horses and adventures await.  We challenge aspiring cowgirls to take the reins and learn the ropes, to see first hand what it takes to be a horse owner.  Our groups are small (8 people maximum) so we can retain one-on-one attention with each Client.

Cowgirl Boot Camp will be custom tailored to groups of different ages, riding abilities etc.  Groups such as:

Bring a group and we can customize the camp to meet your needs and learn what YOU want.
Yes! your group can be co-ed: couples, father-daughter, work groups, riding clubs just to name a few.

While at camp perhaps you will learn things such as:

• Basic horse care
• Tack care and maintenance
• Riding Lessons
• Nutrition
• Colic the #1 killer
• Hoof care
• Vaccinations and De-Worming
• Basic First Aid
• Fundamental horse training
• Dutch oven cooking
• Ranch chores

Days
Thursday-Sunday (4 days/3 nights) boot camp.  
7 day camp with pack trip.

Each participant will need to bring...
sleeping bags and pillows (rentals available)
clothing for all types of weather
riding boots (no tennis shoes, or shorts allowed on rides)
leather gloves
rain gear
hat with visor (i.e. cowboy hat or baseball cap)
sunglasses
sundries
and any necessary medications. 
Please inform us of any major allergies (food, bee stings etc.)

THE FINE PRINT REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand sometimes the need arises to cancel your reservation.  A non-refundable deposit of $200 dollars is required when reservation is made.  If notified in writing more than 30 days prior to trip departure the payment is refunded minus the $200 per person deposit.  Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to departure forfeit all monies unless applied to another trip departing within 1 calendar year.  Camps will be held rain or shine, although the staff reserves the right to change the curriculum if conditions are unsafe.
